WordPress Pages and Posts
When I installed my very first WordPress Blog, I imported hundreds of old style html and shtml files. I did not yet know the difference between WordPress Pages and Posts. I rightly imported the old files as pages, because they all appear in alphabetical order in a widget on the side of every WordPress article.
In the Old World I used to make HTML files that list links to the given subjects. In WordPress this is very easy. You simply add and select which categories a post is connected too as well as which tags coincide. It is up to you to decide what the different uses of these are. When a user clicks on a category or tag he is taken to a list of all the posts and pages which address this assigned subject.
